Wolf-Extra III, part 2.

Text file accompanying Wolf-Extra III, part 2, a Wolfenstein adventure.

Thank you for wanting to play Wolf-Extra III.

Wolf-Extra III is compiled for Spear of Destiny, using the Wolf3D/Spear source code released by Id Software.

Wolf-Extra III also uses much of the resources of the original game, such as graphics, sounds and music.
To protect the copyright of the owner of the original game, the audiohed and audiot files are not included in the zip.
You must own a registered version of Spear of Destiny to supply those files.

How to install and run Wolf-Extra III, part 2.
Create a new directory called WX32.
Unzip WX32.ZIP in the WX32 directory.
Copy the audiohed and audiot files from your original Spear of Destiny directory to the new WX32 directory.
Start WX32.EXE

Important: All parts of Wolf-Extra III must be installed in different directories (folders).

Wolf-Extra III tactics: Use stealth as much as possible and find the right passages. Fight with the knife or a silent pistol (where there is one) to avoid being noticed, especially at the beginning of each game.

Important hints for part 2:

1) At the beginning of the game you must avoid being noticed by any patrolling SS on the first floor unless you manage to kill them unoticed. Even though you may avoid them after being noticed, having them look for you on the floor while you are elsewere will prove fatal.

2) When you enter an elevator to another floor wait long enough to open the elevator door on the new floor to make sure the elevator door you just walked through is closed. Not doing this may prove fatal.

Each difficulty setting has the same number of enemies, but they are harder to beat on the higher settings.

Wolf-Extra III is freeware and may only be distributed free of charge.
All 8 files (including this text file) must be included, and no other.

The author of Wolf-Extra III kindly requests people not to modify Wolf-Extra III nor use part of it in other add-ons.
